The main thing to do once you have our beautiful adirondack fish chairs is to
enjoy them!
If you ordered the untreated southern pine, then you must use them indoors or
paint or stain them before taking them outside. The untreated chairs have no
protection from the weather, even one time in the rain can alter the form of the
wood of your chair!
The treated pine chair can be assembled and brought directly outside to enjoy
immediately. This chair is durable to all climates, and is ready for whatever
extremity of weather your ready to put it to. We recommend that once a year you
re-treat your chair with a good water repellent sealer. The likes of Thompson
Sealer will do just fine.
Also, once a year, check the tightness of the bolts that hold the chair
together. We use long carriage bolts for 2 reasons, one the head will not catch
on clothes or skin, and the excess length is there to help with tightening the
chair and the wood tends to dry and get a bit smaller.
To tighten the bolts after you've had the chair for awhile, you will need a
pair of pliers and a wrench to fit the nut. Take your pliers and grab the extra
length of bolt by the threads and hold it. Then take your wrench and tighten the
nut. It's that simple! We make it simple by design, it sells more and more of
our chairs every day.
We guarantee our wood parts for as long as you have your chair. All you have
to do is send us any cracked or broken part and we'll remake it and send it
directly back to you! You can't beat it! Our returns on the chairs don't exist
and the chairs are screwed and glued so well that our replacement log is almost
as small as our return log! Our chairs are built SOLID from the start of the BIG
2" x 6" legs to the very top of our fish shaped chairs, you will not
find a better constructed chair online.
Our prices are competitive, our chairs will last longer than both of us
expect, and your business is appreciated more than you would ever imagine.
